These are just a few of the many woods available to make your whistle uniquely yours.  I can even make your whistle from a special piece of wood that you supply. I personally don’t believe that the choice of wood has a big effect if any on the sound of your whistle.  As long as the wood is very hard, with a smooth grain, I can make it sound good.

Here’s one I made from a downed limb of a Maple tree my Dad and I planted back in 1955. We lived in Mt.Kisco NY, so this is literally Made Of Mt.Kisco, just like the tune!
